Use your Entrepreneurial and Design Thinking Skills to enhance Ruwwad’s & YWCA’s mentorship programs
In April 2024, Venture 2 Impact (V2I) partnered with Ruwwad, a non-profit based in Amman, Jordan, to enhance their programs through human-centered design and volunteer expertise. This initiative aimed to improve the Design Thinking curriculum for adolescents and entrepreneurs, offer professional sessions for youth, bolster the Business Support Centre, and provide one-on-one mentoring for local entrepreneurs. With a total of 17 volunteers participating, the collaboration resulted in significant gains in business, marketing, finance, HR, and IT knowledge among participants. Both participants and volunteers expressed high satisfaction, furthering Ruwwad’s community development mission.

Building on the success of the past project, Venture 2 Impact and Ruwwad have decided to continue their partnership and expand their outreach. They are now including the Young Women’s Christian Association (YWCA) to extend their support to micro-entrepreneurs and young people interested in Design Thinking and Innovation, reaching the program participants of the YWCA.
Join us on a transformative volunteer opportunity in Amman Jordan where we will work with local entrepreneurs and two nonprofit organizations dedicated to economic justice, design thinking education, and woman empowerment.

At the core of our model lies the belief that your unique skills and expertise should be leveraged to make a meaningful impact in communities that lack access to those skills or can’t afford to pay for them.
As a well-educated and skilled professional, we believe that it is more fulfilling to use your energy and volunteering time to share your skills and build resilient communities rather than the alternative, which is usually going abroad to do something that’s not related to your skills at all (building a structure, painting, etc).
