BACKGROUND
In 2024, V2I and FSC-IF launched a three-week skills-based volunteering program in Panama, supporting Indigenous entrepreneurs with workshops and one-on-one mentoring. With 34 volunteers, 17 entrepreneurs advanced their business endeavors.
Building on the positive results from our first program and our Memorandum of Understanding in April 2023, which established our ongoing partnership, we are excited to present our second opportunity.

Testimonials
Some anonymous feedback we got from our previous volunteers
Volunteering with V2I was more than I ever even could've imagined. The reflections we worked on as a team and individually were very insightful and very eye opening to the many realities of different lives out there. The best part wasn't even working with a group of people that knew how to keep everyone engaged or the community that we were able to build in so little time, it was the interactions with the kids and the young adults that made everything worth it.

I had great experience in my volunteering time both in Rwanda and Romania. Volunteering is not just giving time for others, but soaking in a lot more learning from other volunteers and from the community I am volunteering. And I can see that in myself when I get back home and get back to work.

Frequently Asked Questions
WHY SHOULD I CHOOSE VENTURE 2 IMPACT?
At the core of our model lies the belief that your unique skills and expertise should be leveraged to make a meaningful impact in communities that lack access to those skills or can’t afford to pay for them.
As a well-educated and skilled professional, we believe that it is more fulfilling to use your energy and volunteering time to share your skills and build resilient communities rather than the alternative, which is usually going abroad to do something that’s not related to your skills at all (building a structure, painting, etc).
WHAT SKILLS DO I NEED TO HAVE AS A VOLUNTEER?
Fluent English language skills
Basic, intermediate or fluent Spanish language skills (an asset but not an absolute must!)
Familiarity with Google Drive and/or Microsoft Office (also an asset but not an absolute must!)
An interest in employing your professional skills to help others overcome barriers
A passion for supporting communities and individuals who have experienced historical underinvestment
