Use Your Skills to Support Indigenous Entrepreneurs
The FSC-IF is an Indigenous-led global organization, governed by a Council with Indigenous representatives from around the world who is responsible to provide the strategic guidance of the Foundation and ensure that it operates in line with its mission, values, and principles.
Since 2020, they have been implementing the Indigenous Peoples Alliance for Rights and Development (IPARD). IPARD’s goal is to support Indigenous People’s to develop their technical, organizational and managerial capacities in a consistent way over the long-term, strengthening their abilities to better engage and collaborate with key stakeholders.
Join us on a transformative volunteer opportunity in Panama City, Panama where we will work directly with Indigenous entrepreneurs in supporting them to overcome their largest barriers.
Based on community consultations with indigenous leaders, formal and informal entrepreneurs, we have identified the following challenges faced by indigenous entrepreneurs in Panama:

Each date option will include 6 volunteer days. Travel to Panama and back will take place
over the weekend.
At the core of our model lies the belief that your unique skills and expertise should be leveraged to make a meaningful impact in communities that lack access to those skills or can’t afford to pay for them.
As a well-educated and skilled professional, we believe that it is more fulfilling to use your energy and volunteering time to share your skills and build resilient communities rather than the alternative, which is usually going abroad to do something that’s not related to your skills at all (building a structure, painting, etc).
Fluent English language skills
Basic, intermediate or fluent Spanish language skills (an asset but not an absolute must!)
Familiarity with Google Drive and/or Microsoft Office (also an asset but not an absolute must!)
An interest in employing your professional skills to help others overcome barriers
A passion for supporting communities and individuals who have experienced historical underinvestment
