Become a Volunteer in Marrakech, Morocco
Join Venture 2 Impact and the Amal Foundation in a unique international volunteering experience that strengthens leadership, entrepreneurship, and professional development across one of Morocco’s leading women’s empowerment organizations.
During this one-week immersive program, you’ll share your professional expertise with entrepreneurs, culinary professionals, alumni, and Amal Foundation staff through practical workshops, mentorship, and international knowledge exchange that support long-term career growth and organizational development.
Why Morocco?
Across Morocco, many women continue to face barriers to employment, entrepreneurship, and career advancement. While vocational education provides an important foundation, many graduates and professionals need additional business, leadership, digital, and organizational skills to continue growing their careers and businesses.
Through our partnership with the Amal Foundation, this program helps bridge that gap by connecting participants with skilled international volunteers who share practical expertise, global perspectives, and mentorship that support sustainable professional growth across the entire Amal ecosystem.
What You'll Do as a Volunteer in Marrakech
In-person program
The Volunteer Alliance Program takes place in Marrakech, Morocco, in partnership with the Amal Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women through education, culinary training, entrepreneurship, and workforce development. Together, we bring international professionals and members of the Amal community together to strengthen leadership, entrepreneurship, digital capabilities, and organizational effectiveness.
Volunteer engagement
Each volunteer joins for one week of in-person workshops and mentorship, supported by virtual onboarding, curriculum calls, and cultural preparation before arrival. This model enables professionals to create meaningful impact while sharing practical knowledge that supports long-term career and business growth.
Participant structure
Each volunteer cohort works alongside one dedicated participant group throughout the week, creating continuity across workshops and mentoring sessions. Depending on the week, volunteers will support Amal Foundation staff, former trainees (alumni), kitchen staff and culinary professionals, or women and young entrepreneurs, allowing for more personalized learning and stronger participant relationships. .
Curriculum & tools
Volunteers facilitate practical workshops and mentorship sessions covering leadership, business strategy, entrepreneurship, project management, AI tools, digital marketing, financial planning, branding, communication, customer experience, and productivity platforms. Every session is designed to provide practical tools participants can immediately apply to strengthen their careers, organizations, or businesses. .
