Technology training
Technology is an essential part of our world on a daily basis. We bring technology professionals from some of the world’s biggest tech companies to work with and train your beneficiaries and staff. This can result in improved productivity, proficiency and communications on your team as well as creating potential market and job opportunities for the beneficiaries your work helps.
Business Training
Income-generating opportunities and workforce skills are key to becoming financially self-sufficient members of society and reducing risk. Our volunteers will make use of their training, skills, and experience working for some of the world’s biggest companies to upskill your beneficiaries in areas such as leadership, budgeting and saving, problem-solving, etc. so that they are prepared for the workforce and better-paying opportunities.
Strategic support
As organizations grow and continue to support marginalized communities, they can often lose focus or neglect taking the time to plan strategically. However, in order to have a solid foundation from which to grow, organizations need clear vision, focus, and action-steps, and our volunteer teams can lead you through this process.
Technology-Based Solutions
V2I volunteers have built websites, conducted technology reviews, and moved an organization from paper-based information systems to cloud-based information systems to improve the organization’s efficiency and ability to care for their beneficiaries. With the skills of our volunteers, we can provide technology-based solutions for problems like these or other challenges that your organization is facing.
English Training
English is a crucial skill for people to have in order to qualify for many jobs. Our volunteers can lead interactive and engaging English lessons that will allow your beneficiaries to practice and develop their English abilities.
Empowerment Training
We know that even if people have the necessary skills to succeed but do not believe in themselves and their worth, they will not succeed long term. Consequently our volunteers have provided and can provide soft skills and empowerment training to marginalized communities.

We held our first Telunas Cultural Bazaar. We had a dance group from a local village come in and perform a few dances. We had 7 different vendors displaying wares for people to purchase. Three of the vendors were ones we had visited with the V2I team earlier this year. All in all it was a great success. We are already looking for dates in which we can hold another Bazaar in 2019. This came about directly as a result of the V2I team being here, brain-storming with us, coming up with ideas, etc. In fact, the Bazaar idea was an idea directly from one of the V2I volunteers.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does V2I contribute financially to the project or the partner organization?
Typically, there’s no financial exchange between V2I and the local partner. We don’t expect monetary compensation for organizing the volunteer program and the volunteer facilitation aspects – and we cover any fees required to perform the project when in country (translation, transportation, etc). The value that we add to your organization is centered around solving technical issues, helping you improve engagement at the staff and community level, and create unique educational programs to help your community develop literacy, technology and resiliency skills.
Does V2I need resources from the partner organization to facilitate/manage volunteers?
The time demands of the project from partner’s staff is marginal as Venture 2 Impact leads volunteer engagements, project management and the majority of monitoring and evaluation.
Does Venture 2 Impact help organizations with their fundraising?
This is not our main focus. However, we sometimes apply for grants in conjunction with partner organizations.
