I have come a long way from my native Jordan, and I’ve made a lot of stops along the way. I lead Venture 2 Impact, and spend my days talking to employees and engaged partners from Fortune 500 companies, to onboard them in skills based volunteer programs.
I believe that solving the world’s most complex social, economic, and environmental problems requires the brightest minds and our fullest commitments. I co-founded Venture 2 Impact because I wanted to create an approachable way to educate volunteers about complex problems, allow them to use their natural skills and abilities for good, and convert them into changemakers. Sofia Veira (she/her)
Logistics manager
Hi, I’m Sofía — a proud Colombo-Belizean with a background in International Business and Relations. I’ve been drawn to the world of nonprofits since I was seven, fascinated by how people come together to create change. That spark never left — if anything, it’s only grown.
One of the best parts of my job? I get to travel the world, dive into new cultures, and meet incredible humans along the way. It’s a privilege — and honestly, a bit of a flex — to be part of something rooted in connection, collaboration, and community.
At Venture 2 Impact, I’ve grown from working in programs to becoming Logistics Manager. It may sound behind-the-scenes, but it’s where a lot of the magic happens — from travel and timelines to meals. I focus on building systems that help our teams feel supported and equipped to focus on what truly counts: human connection and long-term impact.

Hello, I’m Ali Karim and I come from London. As the Finance Manager, I bring extensive financial expertise to the organization, with a strong accounting background from the UK and Canada. Over the years, I have gained experience managing complex financial systems, ensuring that resources are handled with accuracy and transparency to support the sustainable growth of our programs. My understanding of international finance standards helps me navigate the unique challenges of nonprofit budgeting and reporting effectively.
Outside of work, I value maintaining a healthy and balanced lifestyle. I enjoy going to the gym to stay active, spending time in nature to recharge, and have a passion for classic 80s music and good burgers. These interests keep me energized and grounded, which I believe complements my careful approach to managing finances.
Juliana Cantor (she/her)
SENIOR monitoring, evaluation and learning (meL) SPECIALIST
I am from Bogotá, Colombia, a place filled with beautiful landscapes and wonderful people. From a young age, I was inspired to direct my life’s purpose toward helping others, creating a positive impact, and contributing to building a better world for everyone. Motivated by this desire to serve and make a difference, I decided to study Political Science with a focus on Political Participation and Communication.
As a Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Specialist, I lead efforts to track and understand the impact of our programs, ensuring that our work is meaningful, data-driven, and responsive to community needs. I focus on designing and implementing strategies to measure outcomes, improve our practices, and learn from the communities we serve. What drives me is witnessing how collective efforts, solidarity, co-creation, and innovation can come together to support long-lasting change around the world. I am passionate about turning insights into action and helping create a future full of hope and opportunity for all.

Hi! I’m Paula, currently based in Bogotá, Colombia. My background is in corporate logistics and administration, where I’ve worked on improving processes, supporting teams, and making things run more smoothly behind the scenes. While I’ve learned a lot from that experience, I’ve always been drawn to work that feels more connected to people and purpose.
That’s why I’m really excited to be part of a team that’s focused on creating a positive impact in the community. I’m here to learn, contribute, and grow both professionally and personally alongside people who care about making a difference.

Hello, I’m Tatiana from Bogotá, Colombia. Being part of such an enriching and caring culture has motivated me to want to help and inspire others through my work. As a business and international relations professional, I have broadened and developed a more empathetic and diverse perspective on the world we live in. Furthermore, I’m passionate about international organizations, especially NGOs, that leave a lasting impact on the communities in which they work.
As a program coordinator, my goal is to be part of projects that positively impact others, while also contributing knowledge from my experience in international cooperation and logistics. I’m excited to be part of a human-centered team and have the opportunity to learn and grow professionally and personally.

Much of my professional background is centered on logistics management and process coordination. I contribute to improving operational efficiency by optimizing processes, reducing complexity, and supporting well-structured workflows. I bring strong attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset, consistently identifying opportunities to enhance operations and align them with organizational objectives.
I have experience working in multicultural environments and value adaptability, collaboration, and continuous learning as key drivers of sustainable growth and professional development.

Mikaela Barleta (She/her)

Hi, I’m Mikaela. Born in the Philippines, since I was young I’ve loved connecting with people, cultures, and languages which led me to study Development Studies, with a major in International Development. I started my career working alongside a founder and a director across two NGOs on community development programs. Later on, I learned overall business operations with a focus on empowering teams and stakeholders within corporate settings through learning and development and transparency. Across both environments, I’ve come to realise it’s always the people at the center that matter most.
As part of the Programs team, my mission is to support initiatives that benefit communities. I love to drive sustainability and social impact through operational excellence. I’m really excited to be part of a people-centered organisation that aims to create a long lasting positive impact as we build programs that will enrich the lives of people and their communities.
